They’re not getting rid of the Roadster. They’re discontinuing it for one year to focus on the Model S, and then they’ll put out a new Roadster. I wish that rumor/misunderstanding would die already.

Li-ion Motors Corp. is launching its best specified car on 15 September of this year in United States. The great –“Inizio” is coming in two different models – powerful Inizio with the speed of more than 200 miles per hour and one with speed of 170mph.

The luxurious sports car was shown first time in New York auto show by the company behind LiV Rush – Li-ion Motors Corp. The new electric LiV Inizio that is available to order now.
The car has a speed of 200 miles with superb acceleration of 0 to 60 miles in 5 seconds. LiV Inizio is manufactured using advanced lithium-ion battery pack that takes eight hours to recharge and gives a range of 250 miles on per charge.

As with all other cars of Li-ion Motors, LiV Inizio has fewer parts than other gas or fuel powered sports car making it more convenient to handle and maintenance free vehicle. The car doesn’t have parts such as engine, values, starter, tailpipe and muffle etc. and thus require no oil or filter change.

The Inizio has eye catchy design. The engineers of the company has designed it in such a way that on collisions the car will pull back the forces under he seats thus preventing it from catching fire. LMCO’s super Electric cars ffers a larger cockpit for its taller customers. The engineers of LMCO’s LiV Inizio has manufactured its body parts in such a way that it allows closed mold process that makes better quality, lighter and stronger parts. The car consists of a removable hardtop stores inside the Inizio. The multi functioning power seats adds more functionality to the Inizio as it offers heating and cooling effects.

The production chassis has removable battery pods and offer optional extreme power plants to give the customers a more powerful and diverse upgrade propulsion package.
LMCO’s green electric car is helping to reduce the pollution in the environment. Inizio has minimum impact on the environment than any other car. This green electric car is emission and sound free. “

i think the tesla s sedan will sell like hotcakes and the price will come down but even at
50k its a good price as i remember the hummer cost about the same and only gets 7mpg
what is even better is it will kill our dependence on foreign oil

Once silicon valley gets into the picture and starts dumping money into Tesla motors I can see the cost of the car going down significantly. More money to play with equals more product to produce. Imagine the possibilities. Google + Tesla Motors. It will have everything you need, and if it doesn’t it will find it quicker than anything else.

@mkrmec Tesla also announced they are going to get rid their roaster, cause it costs too much they can’t sell enough. I think it may be too much, and too little too late.

Model S will be 50k $. The model after S will be even cheaper so don’t give up hope yet.
